Vigilia Park offers three outdoor swimming pools, including a rooftop pool with a bar and views of La Gomera. The rooftop area also has a hot tub, a children's pool, and a mini golf course. Additional facilities include a gym, sauna, billiards, table tennis, and a pool table (€2 per game).
Rooms & Apartments
Each apartment has a private balcony, satellite TV, a ceiling fan, and a kitchenette with a hob, microwave, toaster, fridge freezer, and coffee maker. Two-bedroom duplex units include two bathrooms and a spiral staircase. Apartments are serviced twice a week, with towel changes on those days.
Location & Surroundings
The complex sits on a hill in Puerto de Santiago, roughly 600 metres from the sea, with bus stops right outside serving the whole island. A Lidl supermarket is a 2-minute walk away, and shops, restaurants, and the Los Gigantes marina are within walking distance. The area is hilly, so a taxi to Los Gigantes costs about €4.25 each way.
Family & Children
Children have a dedicated playground, a shallow-end pool on the rooftop, and a mini golf course available with a refundable deposit. The ground-floor pool has a 0.35-metre shallow surround, but both main pools are deep (1.65m and 1.75m) so armbands and pool noodles are allowed, but inflatables are not. The hotel provides free travel cots, high chairs, and baby baths upon request.
Dining & Entertainment
The hotel has a poolside snack bar and a rooftop bar serving drinks and light meals until around 7pm. A buffet breakfast is available for €10.60 per person, though local cafes like Scooby's offer English breakfasts for about £5. Evening entertainment is found at nearby bars such as Highland Paddy in Los Gigantes and the sports bar across the road.
